What’s Up Wednesday
In case you missed seeing these lovebirds rehearsal dinner below, go HERE now to really set the scene for this post. If this pic looks familiar- let me jog your memory…Skyler & Michaela are hitched!! WahOoO! We zested their Big Sur “Backyard BBQ” for their rehearsal dinner and now we are SO excited to show you their wedding. Like I mentioned previously, we love to see our couples personality shine through in all their wedding details. So come along and get to know them and their love story through some stellar pics by the amazing Anya McInroy….
Michaela is all about the details, handmade, flavor, texture and time. She spent the morning before her big day making handmade herb bundles with the best of her friends. They sat on the cabin deck soaking in the sunshine, reminiscing, telling stories, and giggling while their hands smelled of delicious herbs all in silver tones! These gorgeous herb bundles were made for guests to use for the dinner reception celebration…
As the afternoon continued guests were goofing around playing basketball and hula hooping. One might say Skyler & Michaela were very chill and family oriented 🙂
Now let’s dive in and get them married!!
Billy had the honor of officiating Skyler & Michaela’s special day <3
Here they are doing a little pre-wedding prep in their AMAZING Honeymoon cabin at Glenn Oaks...
Michaela’s dress was perfection- simple but yet so gorgeous and sentimental. The flower details on the front all came from the from her Momma’s wedding dress <3 <3 <3
Michaela did her own hair and makeup- she was gorgeous and most of all felt confident and herself, stunning!!
We LOVED that they brought it back to the old school family video camera- epic family videos to come indeed!
Zesty nibbles platter on steroids!!
Time to set the mood with some epic candlelight…
Arielle was working that family style dinner…
Oh and meet Grandpa Bob, we just love him!!
The night closed with Skyler and Michaela singing and playing for us, so sweet!!
We were SO honored to zest this wedding, it was such a great time for family and a true celebration of love.
