I don’t know about you but when 9 or 10 o clock pm rolls around I start to crave a little something sweet. With just overcoming the Holidays that means my sweets cabinet is in no short supply. But that’s no excuse to not start my 2016 off right with healthy choices. So with that I am ready to dump the Milano cookies and See’s candy for a healthier option that can also be just as tasty. That’s where today’s recipe comes into play- let me introduce my easy no bake energy ball bites! Yes that’s right- they will also make for the perfect “pick me up” snack when you need that extra energy boost thanks to the whole ingredients packed in them.
1.5 cups Old fashioned Oats
1 Tbsp. Chia seeds
2/3 cup Nutella
2/3 cup Peanut butter
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
4 Tbsp. Flax seed
1/2 cup Toasted Coconut

Pop your energy balls in the freezer to help them stay in form, plus I think they taste better cold! I am storing my energy balls in the freezer and now when I get my late night craving I can pop one in my mouth!!
