Comfort Market

We don’t always venture out of Atascadero and SLO for our client meetings, but when we do we are sure to always hit up some extra stops since let’s face it we are all about efficiency and exploring our zesty community! So when we met up with one of our brides, Kelli from Sweet Pea Bakery in Arroyo Grande, we were happy to make a pit stop for food on our way home, especially after smelling all of Kelli’s amazing goodies in her bakery- such a tease!! We were excited to find our way to Comfort Market! Not only do they have an amazing lunch and dinner menu here, but some great picnic basics and local goodies on the go.

comfort_market_arroyo_grande_0068Just as you enter the charming downtown Arroyo Grande, Comfort Market is one of the first to greet you on your left with indoor and outdoor seating….

comfort_market_arroyo_grande_0070I even loved the cute little take on a bird fountain as you enter- so great!!

comfort_market_arroyo_grande_0071The chalkboard walls with handwriting made for a comfy and homey environment- all with personal little touches throughout the market…

comfort_market_arroyo_grande_0072Loving those zesty walls!

comfort_market_arroyo_grande_0073We ordered up some delicious sammy’s with a gorgeous citrus vinaigrette salad on the side

comfort_market_arroyo_grande_0074From a build your own classic turkey with tomato horseradish aioli to the “Cuban” sandwich with spice-rubbed Pork Loin, thinly sliced and joined by ham, mustardy house slaw, and housemade sweet and spicy pickles- we were all quite satisfied. (of course chanda panda and Krisit were able to get gluten free bread- yippee!)

And if that wasn’t already a mouth full the owner was SO sweet {literally} and brought us an amazing coconut macaroon topped with chocolate ganache. Can we just say, life changing!!

Hope you enjoy this little slice of heaven some day over at Comfort Market!
