Sometimes us “North County” folk don’t want to go alllll the way down the grade to SLO. Ha- that’s when you know you are really starting to become a local here, a 15 minute drive with absolutely no traffic suddenly is “out of the way.” But hey, I’ll take it. Especially when it means going to cute little towns like Templeton and hitting up one of my favorite wine bar’s for lunch, 15c Wine bar . Anya and I were out running some zesty errands when we started to hear our stomachs rumble so we conveniently stopped in for a bite- we also had her adorable little Rupert with us…..
The gorgeous caprese salad we ordered up, heirloom tomatoes with house made mozzarella topped with fresh basil or pesto.
Although it was a wine bar, we were both eyeing some fresh brewed iced tea on this warm summer day!
But in the wine spirit, we sat at the Grenache table 🙂 tee hee
Next up we shared a yummy bocadilla, prosciutto, house-made mozzarella, roasted red peppers, fresh greens, roasted tomato spread.
They have a great outdoor patio with a fire pit and all, but the inside has got some great ambiance going on as well- you can’t go wrong!
Might have to make this adorable bird feeder- loving it!!
I think Rupert was ready for nap time after lunchtime.. those wrinkles- so precious!
Hope you can make it out to 15C degrees for some fabulous bites and wine in North County!!
